Divas and Husbands
Dressage Husband returned from a ” Dressage Husband Anonymous” support meeting.
He summoned his Dressage Diva to the kitchen and in an un usual authoritatively manner to him , addressed her.
“Daaaarrrrlinnnnnng do you remember the first morning after our honey moon when you told me that having a husband or NOT having a husband , your dressage Career is not going to be jeopardised by the institute of marriage, you said very clearly that the horses and stables come first, looking after house, washing and cooking only if and when time permits, you are going to continue with your regular visits to your trainer who is a fountain of all knowledge including dressage, go to shows as often as you want , not going to give up your mates from the dressage world which most of them are young beautiful and gay ,MY office parties and client entertaining only with a take away meals and strictly on self service basis .
All the money that you earn will be spent on the horses and all the money that I earn will also be spent on the horses, Children and ambition seldom go together so forget any idea of starting a family before I do my first GP “ (and we all know it may not be during this life time).
Dressage Husband continued “And do you remember that I have not uttered a word , I agreed with every thing you said because deep down I know that the recipe for happy marriage to a Dressage Diva is the principle of give and give more, but I would like to add to it that in order to cement our relationship , FROM now on every week end in this house there will be Love , Affection and SEX (lot of it) WITH you here or with out YOU here Daaaarrrrlinnnnnng”
