Rugby Dressage and husbands
I have a shared interest in a woman with another guy , a typical dressage “ Menage A Trois”
I am her “ Dressage Trainer” he is her “Dressage Husband”.
After every test I tell her what she done wrong and he tells her how good it was .
I charge for everything he pays for every thing .
I get cross frustrated and he is always happy and cheerful
While I am run of the mill dressage trainer , he is every Dressage Diva’s dream of a “Dressage Husband” ,Until this week end .
For the first time in the many years of our joint enterprise this guy was STRESSED and restless, unfocused and un characteristically careless in looking after his Dressage Diva.
He had to be reminded several times about every aspect of his roll and duties; clean boots, hold horse , where is my drink etc. In the past a click of the tongue or a blink of an eye were sufficient for a quick respond to fetch and carry.
“What’s up ???“ I asked in a very concerned tone of voice .
“It’s the RUGBY “ he said “I really want to watch to day ,it will be the ONLY chance to see England playing in this tournament.
“YOU tell her that the two of you will manage without me just for once “.
“Nnnooo Wwwwaaay “ I replied .
“PPPllleeeaaasssse I must watch the RUGBY !!! YOU tell her that the two of you will manage without me just for once ” he pleaded.
“Nnnooo Wwwwaaay “ I replied and I added “Haven’t you heard about the modern technology of recording “.
The Dressage Husband gave me a long long long look ,suddenly with a big smile on his face “why haven’t I thought of it “
he continued “HERE take my smart phone film her test I am going to watch the RUGBY!!”
