Fishing
Fishing
Senior Trainer took up new sporting activity “Deep (in thought ) pond fishing”
At every opportunity he would gather his fishing tackle and spend time by the pond at the bottom of the farm.
He would sit there for hours with rod in one hand and a pipe in the other. From the corner of his eye he could see the arena with all the young riders training and practicing for the next life changing experience while the only change he was looking for was a piece of the quite.
This new activity of her husbands irritated Mrs Senior Trainer big time , there she is with some pressing compelling female needs and her husband wasting time playing with his rod .She would rather he mowed the lawn , attended to the dish washer and other similar tasks.
One morning as Senior Trainer was on his way to the pond the Mrs caught up with him “WHERE ARE YOU OF TO ??? we haven't got time for this , my parents expecting us for lunch”
“I will not be long , one fish and I am back” he replied.
“ ONE FISH ONLY !!!!!” the Mrs emphasised .
Senior Trainer turned to junior trainer and said “come son lets get a little piece of the quit even dressage trainers deserve a little of that”
Junior Trainer shrugged his shoulders and said “What's the point ? to walk all that way for one fish we will be back in 10 minutes”
“Unlikely son , we will get our time by the pond” Senior Trainer assured him.
“No way !! before you settle down in your chair you will have a fish , no point going”
“No son , I have never been that lucky with the girls and I am not going to be any luckier with the fish, lets go” Senior Trainer was getting impatient .
“BUT HOW CAN YOU BE SO SURE? you may just this time catch a Fish straight away , no point going” Junior Trainer was just as adamant.”
“Unlikely , Unlikely ,Unlikely “ Senior Trainer grabbed the rod and started walking.
With Junior Trainer shouting after him “ WHY Unlikely ?”
“BECAUSE SON I DON'T HAVE A LINE OR A HOOK on this rod !!!“ were Senior Trainers parting words.
