Hair cut
Op Trainer and Junior Trainer where by the working in arena at the Hickstead CDI having a chat as often is the case the conversation revolved about students, training techniques and how to become better more EFFECTIVE Trainers.
Junior Trainer pointed at his student that was warming up in the arena at that moment and said
"What ever I say or do I still cant make HER sit in the correct classical dressage seat , I can shout, scream, plead or bag what she does in the saddle is the perfect imitation of the old fashioned HUNTING SEAT"
His mate the Top Trainer replied that in order to be effective some time it is necessary to SAY IT AS IT IS! no fluffing or flannelling simply tell this Diva "TO SIT ON THE HAIRY AND FAIRY parts of her anatomy".
A lady standing by them joined the conversation and said , that now days with modern trends, that may not mean much to many dressage ladies.
The Top Trainer turned towards her smiled and said "You are right in your case probably one should say lower yourself onto the LANDING STRIP".
The Diva looked surprised and asked" HOW DID YOU KNOW?".
The Top Trainer replied "Madam, you put on Face Book JUST A HAIR CUT and off to the CDI , from the state of your hair clearly you did not mean on your head, your hair is a mess "
