Remebering tests

For some the most daunting aspect of dressage  is the memorising of tests.
There are those that can ride all the intricate  movements and exercisers in the FEI curriculum  but can never  gets them in the right order or  place .
People  that have phenomenal skills in other  spheres where memorising details is  essential    to success  become totally paralysed  and frozen when faced with the dilemma  of turning right or left at  C.
Until recently  a problem like this was a personal matter to be solved by the individual with little help, no self respecting dressage rider  would admit  to the world  that he is a TEST FORGETTER  hence those with this debilitating predicament would spend hours  on their own, devising a system to assist  in learning and memorising a dressage test.
Ideas varied  from  a bed partner  reminding  the rider every night that  after the centre the turn is always left   or right according to ones orientation,   to  a practical simulation of a dressage test    ,   practised on ones  hands and knees   in the arena  100s times .
Fortunately  now days  for  every   problem there  is a  solutions ,  for every difficulty  there is an expert assistance  on hand   and the latest service available  to the dressage public  is   a Test  Memorising  Course  in short  T,M,C , offered by  the  “ British  Dressage Test  Memorising  Council”  in short   B,D,T,M,C .
During  an area  dressage competition  one  Junior Competitor  inquired with   a Top  Competitor  about  this  new  innovation  and how  effective  was  the memory clinic  Top competitor  attended recently?.
"Outstanding,"  replied  the Top  Competitor. "They taught us all the latest psychological techniques - visualization, association - it's made a big difference for me."
"That's great! What was the name of that course?"Junior Competitor    asked.
Top Competitor  went blank. He thought and thought but couldn't remember. Then a smile broke across his face and he asked, "What do you call that flower with the long stem and thorns?"

"You mean a rose?"

"Yes, that's it!" He turned to his wife. "Rose, what was the name of that  course I went on  yesterday?"
