Flossy is well known to many on the British Dressage Forum as a teller of interesting stories and perhaps the odd joke or two. We have selected a few tales for your pleasure.

JT at HOYS

Junior Trainer realized that in order to maximise his chances to be selected to the Olympic team he has to have some more public and media exposure ,he has to be in the selectors faces as often as possible , what could be better then a little display of his skills in HOYS as one of the entertainment numbers.
He took the Totalas look alike to London for the audition run by Roger Brook Smith, Unfortunately for him taking part in the audition were CH riding Velcro and a gorgeous looking Spanish girl named Phillipa Gonzales on a beautiful Andalucían stallion.
All candidates were given few minutes to perform in front of RBS and the one with the most exiting original show will be given the chance to perform on the opening night in front of a full house.
CH and Velcro did their usual polished display and then came in the lovely looking Phillipa riding bare back on the even lovelier stallion, while the orchestra played tunes from the El Cid film the stallion piaffed and passaged Phillipa performed her version on horse back of the dance of the seven veils. The sight was mesmerising a beautiful Grey stallion with flowing main not a stich of leather on him piaffing in tune with the music and a stunning girl shedding veil after veil, everyone's eyes were glued waiting for the last veil to be removed, At that moment RBS turned to junior trainer and said “Well young man do you think you can do more exiting show then that” to which JT replied “YOU GET THE STALLION OUT OF THE RING AND LEAVE THE GIRL AS SHE IS”
